Subtitling as translation
Subtitling is another form of translation. In the translation process, our translators are skilled to understand the idiomatic and cultural nuances of the source and target language – condensing or paraphrasing when necessary to provide the meaning of the dialogue within the allowed number of characters per subtitle line. This allows the subtitling team to synch the subtitles with the viewers’ regular reading rhythm. At Lexcode, we make sure that your messages are not just translated but are localized.
A team of experts
Our subtitling team’s utmost pride is the quality it provides. They underwent strict training to ensure that the subtitling industry-standard guidelines are observed at all times. They can handle large volumes and work with tight deadlines without compromising the quality.
The Subtitling process
Lexcode’s team of subtitlers follows a rigorous process of subtitling – from transcription, spotting, translation, subtitle placement, quality control and final review of the output. This allows the subtitling team to focus on producing the best output possible for our clients. Some of our clients who can vouch for this are Educational Broadcasting System (EBS) – Korea, ABS-CBN Global, Century Properties, and XS Design.
